 Q. How long have you been an Iron Dog Sponsor?

 A. White Spruce Trailer Sales has been a proud sponsor of the Iron Dog race for well over a decade now.

 Q. Why did you decide to become an Iron Dog sponsor?

 A. We at White Spruce felt that Iron Dog embodied the true Alaska spirit, courage, strength and tenacity. These are characteristics that we, as a company and Alaskans, can stand behind!

 Q. Why do you think supporting the Iron Dog is a valuable use of your annual giving?

 A. The cost when compared to the strength in community really is invaluable. The riding community, as well as several far-reaching villages, get together and support this function with a single goal in mind. That sense of community is something that cannot be measured in dollars. Completing this race year in and year out has become a tradition, and being a part of that strong tradition is where we want to be.

 Q. How do you think the community benefits from the existence of the Iron Dog?

 A. As stated above, you get a gathering from all walks of life that are brought together with one thought in mind. Communities that otherwise may receive little attention or visitors get a rush of support, if only for a short time. Personally, professionally, and economically, this race accomplishes good wherever it goes!

 Q. What do you think of the revamped race this year, with the additional miles near Kotzebue and the Fairbanks start?

 A.  The changes made for the 2020 race has really added something new for people. Changing the start offers a new opportunity for Interior fans to enjoy the start and release of racers. Likewise, the Valley will be able to support the finish and enjoy the festivities. Perhaps an every other year start like Yukon Quest?
