2018 Iron Dog Purse Announced
Anchorage, Alaska (AK). Iron Dog, Inc., the world’s longest toughest snowmobile race announces the purse for the 2018 race.
1st place team $60,000
2nd place team $30,000
3rd place team $15,000
4th place team $10,000
5th place team $5,000
In addition to the official purse, the three biggest manufacturers have posted the following contingency prizes:
1st place finish by an Arctic Cat team $10,000
2nd place finish by an Arctic Cat team $5,000
3rd place finish by an Arctic Cat team $3,000
1st place finish by a Polaris team $10,000
1st place finish by a Ski-Doo team $10,000
Additional contingency prizes approach $70,000.
The purse and contingency prize packages come to a total of $228,396
