Iron Dog announces largest purse in race history

SATURDAY, FEB. 24, 2024 — The largest purse in race history awaits the top Iron Dog finishers in the 40th running of the World’s Longest, Toughest Snowmobile Race. The race will pay out $225,000 in purse money, plus more than $58,000 in contingency prizes.  See the full Contingency Prize list on page 59 of our 2024 race guide, here.

 The $225,000 purse will be paid out to the first through 11th place teams.
