Spotlight On: Anchorage Chrysler Center, Iron Dog 2020 Sponsor

Iron Dog is always excited to partner with Anchorage Chrysler Center, which has served Alaskans for more than 55 years. Iron Dog’s sponsors play a critical role in supporting the race, not only through financial giving, but also time, expertise and donations.

Iron Dog thanks these sponsors who support the World’s Longest, Toughest Snowmobile Race, and we want you to know a bit more about them. Here, we learn about Anchorage Chrysler Center.

Q. Why did you decide to become an Iron Dog sponsor?

A. We admire and respect the skills and spirit of adventure displayed by the teams.

Q. Why do you think supporting the Iron Dog is a valuable use of your annual giving?

A. The Iron Dog is a dramatic and unique matchup of machines and humans vs. Alaska’s elements.

Q. How do you think the community benefits from the existence of the Iron Dog?

A. Since many Alaskans snowmachine recreationally, it is a wonderful experience for the local community to see and feel the excitement the Iron Dog provides in volumes.

Q. What do you think of the revamped race this year, with the additional miles near Kotzebue and the Fairbanks start?

A. In terms of the start and the trail, it just makes sense to have the playing field both challenging, yet safe as possible.
